The cobs both live out, one a yearling sec D and my 3yr cob. I want to start feeding garlic as the flies are terrible around here :( at the moment they don't get any hard feed just grass, they both look well, perhaps the 3yo looks a little too well :o so dont want to be fattening her up, so was just going to give her a few handfuls of pony nuts for the garlic to mix in with.
However the yearling looks a bit ribby? what do you think? lovely glossy coat and bright eyes, a funny shape at the moment, very bum high. (ugly duckling stage!! :D ) What would be best to feed?

(ETS) he actually looks less ribby here, will post another pic.

Also where is the best place online to buy supplements from?
Thanks :)

Yearling looks fine to me. You don't want them fat. They will go ribby as they grow upwards but you don't want to feed any more than you already are.

It might be worth worming them both really well (no offense) as yearling looks quite pot bellied. It is very common for youngsters to have worm burdens despite being on a regular worming programme too.
