Yellow snots

There's some yellow snots outside my horses stable the other day and today some in his water drinker, he seems his normal self and there's no signs of flu there's non crusting on his nose?hes fed haylege could it be off this? Thanks

Probably got a bit of an infection. My horse was a bit poorly this time last year, lots of yellow snot and bit of a cough. I got the vet out and she was given meds and she was better after a few days. Keep an eye on him and call vet if necessary.

I wouldn't have thought it was anything to do with haylage.
