Managed to dodge the forecasted downpour today, feeling very pleased with myself; was tipping it down when I got there, I hung around a bit and as it was clearing I decided to chance it. Rain stopped just enough for an hour's hack, and then promptly started tipping down again just as I got his rug back on. Perfect timing by sheer luck! Hoping for a dry day tomorrow!

We'll done! I'm just down the road in Leighton buzzard and it hasn't stopped.
Thought we were in with a chance yesterday so tacked up, the sky turned black and then thunder and hail storm! Ride abandoned.
I had been really looking forward to the Christmas break and hacking out with the kids but we have hardly been out at all. Depressing really!

I'm with you, I waited all day in the hope I would get a chance to go out and and it paid off and I got a lovely hack in this arvo, everywhere was soaked and floaded but still got out and now feeling very happy with myself :) x

I rode out for about 45 mins, and got soaked!! Horse was less than impressed, although she did seem to enjoy trotting though all the large puddles on the way back!!

This morning was horrible so they have been in all day so when I went down at 1600 it was dry so wacked the floodlights on, tacked up and did half hour schooling ... to top it off he was a really good boy and I wish I had worked him longer :)
