Went out for our closing meet yesterday. Had a fantastic time despite a crowd of antis trying to spoil it!
The field master did a fantastic job of keeping us away from the antis the whole time, everytime they appeared we were whisked off in a different direction. They were trespassing all over the hosts land, however the police were dealing with a large problem elsewhere so nothing came of it.
I had a really lovely day though, had to look after 6 kids, 1 of which had never been before, they all had a fab time too (although we did have one tumble, but she was ok!). They were all fantastic little jockeys (wish i was as brave as them!), even the youngest, who was a little nervous to start with, was soon flying along at the front!
Pony was a very good boy (as usual) and we ended up jumping some huge hunt jumps! Cant believe its the end of the season already!
