Went to do some show-jumping at one of the local places on Sunday.
Blu was really wound up by the wind on saturday night, but loaded first time which is always a good start!
Got there in plenty of time, entered the 2'6ft and 2'9ft to start with and was going to see how she went for the open (3'3ft).
Warmed her up and popped a few fences, she was very excited and a little on the strong side but went in a did a lovely double clear, so we came 2nd out of about 22 and won £5
Gave her a break and then warmed up for the 2'9ft - again did a nice d/c, if a little dodgy at the first 2 fences! Came 3rd in that (again around 20 people) and won £4.50!
Decided that since she was jumping well I'd enter the open, and she went in and gave me a lovely clear. Sadly in the jump off we had one down (all my fault - got in a little deep and fast), so came 3rd again!
No money for that as there were not enough in the j/o.
So a very happy me and a slightly tired Blu
