Seems daft that the owner is threatening for him to be PTS when he's young and supposedly healthy. I'm sure there's plenty of people out there who would be willing to take him. Perhaps she should try advertising him properly rather than roll out the old sob story of "it's £500 or he's being put to sleep", irresponsible IMO.
 
Last I heard Potters has had so many horses in this winter they're only giving about £20 a horse, and he can only go for meat money if his passport hasn't been signed off, and since most vets make you sign the passport at gelding so they can give the horse drugs to do a pain free gelding, does that mean that the owner actually WILL send him for meat? And even if he does go for meat - look how many other horses are available. I don't like sob stories.
