Poor little mite. A reminder to be super careful when mixing horses and dogs, especially when children are involved. RIP little one.

I'm afraid I never seen any traveller riding and wearing a hat.

Then the parents have to assume a measure of responsibility surely, the child was only 7 so had no idea. It is dreadful, but becuase others don't wear them is no excuse not to put one on your own child. That they save lives is wihout question.
