Yes, slow and steady progress is really good with a nervous animal. Keep going and I'm sure he'll be much more confident around humans. The only thing is to make sure that you don't frighten him by accident or push him too soon.

Do you have a technique for getting him into his run without upsetting him? Would it be possible to join his hutch and the run together so he doesn't need to be picked up yet?

I get him by the scruff ( I know stressful) and then cuddle his back legs :(

He is soo lovely I just want to do well by him :)

I bred rabbits as a child for pocket money, and they were all well handled , I have never had to do this :(
