Im feeling much more positive this morning

Been and lunged the little monster in his pessoa, and we're going out to do some hill work this afternoon (and hes relaxing in his field as we speak)

Like you've all said, its not the end of the world - i just wish he hadnt chosen yesterday to be naughty!!

Tbh i wasnt nervous at all once i got on, i do get nervous before i start riding tho, so i dont think it was that. Either way im now feeling more determined than ever

We've got a weekend off as im going up to watch the Nationals next weekend, then im doing 2 tests at Crofton indoors the following week. Hes never been there before, so we'l see how he is then

Oh, PG, I'm so sorry to read your report but glad that you're feeling chirpier today.

As usual, partoow has put everything I would have said down so much better than I could have done!

Just take it on the chin as part of the learning curve and the rollercoaster ride of horses............... young, talented ones in particular!

Take the pressure of him for a bit, concentrate on doing the things you both do well and the next comp can only be better than the last, eh?!

Young Lady!!!! You are not selling that horse, you know as well as i do he has the talent to take you where you want to get to and I know its hard when he is naughty but its all part of the package, You have put sooooo much work into that horse and remeber what he was doing when you first got him, he was even worse. Rupert is a little monster sometimes, he will have big spooks and try and get me off, her will do the BIGGEST bucks and yes it does piss me off but i guess i put up with it because i know he is special and got the talent to teke me where i want to go and when he is good he is very good and iek archie, when is is good he is bloomin good e.g YH clcass win! I know its hard and I know exactly what you ahve gone througth but all i can say is get back in that saddle and just enojoy him, do some fun stuff and i just let him do some different stuff. You are a great rider and you have done lots with him.

Oh and if he is going to be naughty again then just tell him he can do that at Andrews and he can deal with it!
