My horse is living out day and night now. Yesterday a holiday loan pony that he likes arrived to join the herd for the Easter holidays. Usually when my horse sees me he comes to me ,(as he expects to be fed) but today he did not but stayed standing next to the holiday pony. I just thought that he was enjoying the visitors company, but when his loaner and I walked across the field to the two of them we saw that the reason they were so close to eachother was that my horsesleg was trapped in the belly straps of the ponies rug! Am just so relieved that they stood rock still and did not pull back and struggle and break a leg.
