Yippee - Just heard from trainer!!

Fantastic news. For those who don't know my horse Wladimir has gone away to be shooled as I'm due to give birth in about 2 weeks. He's only 4.5yo and been turned away all summer. Trainer says that he's done second session of lunge jumping (still too unfit to jump under saddle) and he did exceptionally well!! 100% improvement in his style! He actually said that he is so flash over the fences, tucking in his front feet and flicking his back end that he may even be too careful in the future!!! He remarked that he's a very promising horse. I love Wlad and am missing him loads. I've arranged to go and visit him again next week. Won't be able to get in many more visits now until I have baby so every one is precious.

Ahh thats fab news. What are your plans for the future with him. Hope all goes well with the baby!

I really want to do showjumping with him. Whilst he is away he will be competing and if ready will be affiliated!! I just hope I can fit in horse/work/mumhood. I'm pretty sure I'll be OK though. Plenty of perpole do it and my OH is great with kids and horses.

I'm due to give birth in 3 weeks and am missing my daily horse fix too! My YO is riding my boy until after the birth. It's nice to know that they're being kept ticking over until we're ready to get back in the saddle. Sounds like your lad is enjoying his training - loads for you to look forward to!
