Yippeee--It's Flyball time again

I'm at Wood Green this weekend, so anyone going there come say hi, you can't miss us, Skye (blue/white BC with 'naughty' spots) runs with Essex Expectations and Star (lilac/white BC with 'naughty' spots) is going to be in 1 of the Essex starter teams.

It's baby Star's 1st flyball comp, it wasn't that long ago that she wouldn't even pick up a ball! She's the 6th dog in the team, to do a bit of training, but she was so good at the demo we did last week, running down the jumps, getting a ball rolled off the box and running back down the jumps with just wings on the jump nearest the box and there was an agility have a go ring next to us, that if she does ok in the warmup, she may run in the team as last dog. She hasn't done any changeovers yet and hasn't run in training with another dog in a lane next to her, it's a big ask, but she's been coming on so well over the last few weeks and there's not another starters show I'm going to for I don't know how long.
 
I'm at Wood Green but racing on saturday. Sprocket seems to have got his confidence back a bit after our blip at Kineton so fingers crossed he will run well (only need a couple of good runs and he will get his FD).

I'm camping, so will be there all weekend, although both my dogs are running Sunday. Come say hi.

I'll look out for you :). I finally have my team kit so will be the person in a royal blue and yellow hoodie with a small black dog.
