I was just reading in one of my horsey mags that this is very good for horse riders as it helps supple the body.

Does anyone do Yoga?

Im thinking of going to some classes and just wondered if it is actually worth doing!!

It is very good indeed.
I started of with doing a class and then my friend bought me a Yoga video. I really felt the benefits.
I want to get back in to it again as when I was pregnant I didn't do anything and now when I try and do it I am soooo stiff it depresses me.
So, you go join a class or buy a DVD and in return can you kick my butt and tell me to get back to it!!

I started back in Oct as it was recommended by a friend and I was suffering from stress. It not only helps the relaxation and sleep, but I feel a lot lighter in the saddle and balance and posture have definately improved.
I would seriously recommend it to all

You've reminded me that I must book another course! I went every week for about 3 years, and then got quite busy in the summer and didn't get round to booking any sessions. I hadn't realised how much good it was doing me until I stopped! There are several different types of Yoga, so if you don't get on with one teacher's style, try another! It's a very good form of suppling and stretching (I started going on the recommendation of my chiropractor) and is also brilliant for relaxation and helping you to focus on just one thing, I was surprised how much I enjoyed the relaxation part of the class.
