York Horse Sales

Hey,
I was planning on going to York Sales this Friday with my friend.
Never been before, just wondering what I can expect
Any good? Not looking ot buy just going for a neb!

I have been a fair few times. I bought my first pony (that i kept for 7yrs) from there! Its a fair enough place, the usual crowds from your dealers to your horse owners. You get quite an array of horses coming through from your younstock to the occassional diamond in the rough.It's a busy atmosphere with horses able to be viewed/ridden early on, then the auction usually starts in the early afternoon. They have tack auctions as well and a few stalls outside. Wrap up warm tho, cos it gets a bit chilly in there. The auctioneer never fails to raise a smile with what he comes out with sometimes.

Have a good day tho, its usually a good atmosphere and I havent ever seen any issues with the horses.
