Hi everyone, I'm pretty new and was surprised to see how many other fellow Yorkshire riders there is coming on here. Usually everyone is from the South which is nice but harder to meet up.

If anyone is from West Yorks / North Yorks area and wants to make contact feel free! I'll be going to some shows this year if anyone is going around that area.

Where do you go to shows and what do you do?

Well this year I would like to go to Horsforth shows and Arthington and Weeton. However as my mum keeps hers at Panel and lives in Knaresborough I may wander over that way too. I have no real plans yet, it depends on my horses progress and if we eventually master a showring canter!!!

I don't compete...or even have a horse at the moment but thought I'd say hello. In fact I've never been to any comps except pony club when younger and a few whilst at uni riding but I would like to eventually do some jumping at local shows when I've got used to being a horse owner.

hey, i live near weeton when i'm not at uni, tho i dont have a horse at the moment, i hope to rectify that once i finnish uni though! we show are sheep at weeton normally tho.
