Anyone know any decent courses to hire for xc schooling in yorks/lincs

Caistor isnt opening till summer

The hoods looks good but is 18 per hour (and we have a feeling my friends baby who has never seen an xc jump before may need quite a bit of time)

and Iv done manor farm - howden sooo many times before

so anyone know something decent and fn with reasonable rates in the area xx

Iv had a look at uk chasers weby, and it seems a buit outdated, iv rang a few courses from there and they havent been open for some reason or another

Was originally planning red-house, but they only have open days, not just general hire and I have a wedding on the same day

Ill check out the other links and have a see

Thank you

White House Farm at Eagle, Lincoln.
Danesthorpe near Newark.
Also lots of UK Chasers courses if you look on their website for the nearest one to you.
I think you will find that the majority are about £15 - £20 but dont usually charge you by the hour.

Hoods is brilliant - They have a sand school to warm up in and a lovely set of SJs as well. Loads of different XC fences - nothing too enormous but lots of variety. We have been loads of times and they never hold you to the hour thing - have often spent 2-3 hours there messing around. Owned by lovely eventing/hunting people too!

^^ hoods sounded ideal, but on the phone she seemed quite strict about the hour thing

and we dont really want to be pushing on for time, we want to be able to take it easy and chill, spesh seen as its 1 1/2 hours travelling for me each way, wouldnt really be worth it for an hour xx

If you want something for a horse that has never seen XC jump before, the Rosethorpe park is good, it is small but ideal for a 1st timer im going to take my horse there.

I have also been to Esckric Park Estate and that is nice also.
