Has anyone been? Im going and would like to find out as much as I can before I go. Im going to do the week long Showjumping course. Any info appreciated thanks!!

I learnt to ride there years ago when they still had ponies!
I honestly don't know what the accomadation etc is like, but the my freind has had lessons on their 'school' horses and they are very responsive and good fun to ride.
I hope you have a good time; I had my horse there for a bit of re schooling and found everyone very friendly- and you get to see christopher and jane riding, which is always good!

Some friends of mine go twice a year, they love it. The accomodation is nice and they always come back full of new confidence.

Hi, i went a couple of years ago for week, not really a holiday for me though, it was more training i suppose!
The accomodation is fine (i was in the cheap bit!). Most of the horses are nice, some are better than others, and one i rode had a bl**dy great buck on it! But they do only put you on horses to match your ability.
With regards to the sj, we did loads of cantering round and round over tiny courses (i'm talking 1' x poles!!), which was a little repetitive, before they wacked it up to a decent height.
Did xc training though which was fantastic x
