Well, I do anyway. Have being feeling very sorry for myself lately, poor me, single mother, 2 crazy kids, broke to the ropes, horses to feed, etc... but i can log in here at any time, day or night, and be instantly "picked up". Thank you to all H&H members for helping me feel better just by being yourselves. It's lovely to know that I'm not the only one with a horse that decides to do his own thing, or that things get me down. As strange as it may be, lots of ye treat me with more respect than some members of my own family do!! THANKS guys, I really appreciate it!!!!

You can get a pat on the back,or shoulder to cry on.
Feel happy that you may have helped someone, or get the help you need.
Have a laugh. Cry at really sad news.
Or have an in depth talk about anything, or a completly off the wall chat about complet b0llox.
Or have an argument with someone you have never met,nor never likely to.
Care about people, dislike people, laugh at/with people.
All while never leaving the comfort of your living room. :D
 
it is actually like a livery yard... some slightly precocious members that you can imagine turned out in the best, shiniest gear... some people who think they know more than they actually do... people who really do know their stuff and whose posts you read and really take on board... cob lovers, TB lovers... snobs... scruffy jeans and tshirts types... i can kind of form a mental picture of most of the members based on the information they share.

Well said!!! Keeping my horses at home, I find there is some great information on here that I guess you would normally get from a livery yard. Obviously you have to use a little bit of common sense and filter the advice but there are definitely some really good people on here who give sound advice.
