so what stupid antics have you gotten up to today?

I started driving to work and the turn off is on the way to the yard..drove right past the turn off thinking I was going to the yard and had to turn around and come back!

Not today but a few weeks ago I put a spaghetti into the microwave and defrosted it instead of cooking it. Didn't realise until I took the forst bite :S

Does anyone else have a car that learns routes...so even if you are trying to go somewhere different, your car takes you to the yard?
Or do I need to discipline mine?

I've done that before, had a total panic and frantically emptied my handbag on my passenger seat convinced i'd lost my car keys....the car was already running?! Not as bad as my friend though, who took her TV remote out with her one day instead of her mobile phone....

I have an even worse confession.
I was leaving the yard with my OH...I was driving.
He very kindly got out to open the gate...and I drove through, then forgot all about him and started to drive off. About 100m down the road I realised and reversed, tried to pretend it was a joke.
He wasn't fooled

I left both the dogs at the yard. Drove home - almost all the way and suddenly realised! Turned around and drove back to the yard kind of casual as though I had just popped away for something and meant to leave them there, but no.....everyone was laughing....they knew I had just forgotten them. Te dogs were just standing by the gate looking forlorn...

I once worked at a yard where one of the liveries had two children...a teenager, and a 5yr old, both girls. The trouble was that the mother would invariably drive home without the 5yr old.
We'd phone and say 'Are you home? Look around you....'
