I just wondered what others had come across out hacking that made them pick up their reins, mentally check their phone was in their pocket, their heels were down and their butt cheeks were glued to the saddle to find that their horse took absolutely NO NOTICE!!

Ah, yes. A field of young bullocks, around twenty of the little blighters, broncing and galumphing along beside us for the entire length of their large field had me ready for trouble. My girlie raised a disdainful eyebrow and wrinkled her lip then took no notice whatsoever. Then a chicken wandered out of a hedge - vertical take off!

How about paper caught by wind and being blown out of their folder and towards and under my horse leading to ears pricked and sniffing, whilst a pole he had gone over about 20 times on the lunge leads to a minor heart attack when cooling down. Stupid animal.
