...for something, and come out with something five times the price…? Well, yesterday I went out to get some ‘totector’ boots to wear round the yard, and came out with these…

I don’t care if it makes me some sad follower of (a past?) fashion, or an equichav, they are the most comfortable (and most expensive!) things I have ever worn on my feet in an equine environment. I am in love with my boots!

I was expecting loads of comments abouthow 'last year' they were, or worse... Not that I care. I am still reeling from shock though. LOL at plaiting bands!

At least I was after boots to start with, but the girl in the shop was good... 'Oh are you sure you can't get your feet in? Let's try again'. Then the killer - 'Why don't you look in the mirror?'. Doomed. Fate sealed.

I love my Uggs - well, Emus to be technically correct. I have two pairs of sheepksin ones and two pairs of the cheaper cowhide/woll lined ones, three short and one tall. Sadly it is too warm here now to wear them, although funnily enough I am sitting here wearing some other long boots...

I like Crocs too. It's all about the comfort these days...

They are gorgeous. Riding boots are the same as shoes. I love em to bits. I am convinced I am going to die in my Mark Todd Heaphys. They are soooo comfortable. If it wasn't for the bath bit at the end I am sure I would go to bed in them!

Ooooh, they are lovely! Temptation for boots is out of my reach as I have stupidly tiny feet so it's kids section or nothing for me!

I do love my UGGS though (cheap impersonation of UGGS) they may be 'so last year' but I don't care!

Oooh, nice boots. I went in to our local tack shop the other day for a leadrope and came out with a GPA hat and a rug, and no leadrope. I've banned myself from going for a couple of months now haha
