... you're so excited to see a bale of haylage that you hug it!
I ran out 2 days ago and can't find any hay or haylage anywhere apart from horseage. I have been panicking about the prospect of going and spending £40 on 2 days worth of horseage, or my horses starving, all weekend. My farmer neighbour turned up last night with a huge bale of haylage in the back of his van, god knows how he got it.
I hugged it, then him (got told in an embarrassed tone to 'put me down woman'), then it again. Then I stroked it lovingly for a while. So hopefully, if I stretch it a bit, it should last a week! Wooooooo!
