...does anyone else get sort of twitchy and restless and just desperate to get back on board?!

I've just had 8 months off riding because of having a baby and then got back on my pony 3 weeks ago and it was like I'd never had a break (I was cantering round like a loon ) but haven't ridden since then and I've got itchy feet...or maybe itchy bum...to get on again. I can't concentrate properly on anything!! Watching olympic equestrian stuff all day every day is probably not helping....

I always get the 'itch' when watching riders on tv, even if I have already ridden 2 horses that day! I have never had a long break from riding, but having a weeks holiday away from the horses drives me mad, can't imagine how long 8 months seems! Get on a horse again, or your brain will suffer

Yes currently 4 weeks post hysterectomy and can't wait to get back on (though I know it'll be a couple of months yet).
