My daughter didn't get the chance to be horsey as a child, my allergies were so severe even horse hair on her clothes could have put me in hospital.
However, now she's in her twenties and her excitement when I said I was thinking of buying a horse made me think that it might after all be a passion we could share. In the 18 months I've had Mollie, my daughter's ridden her a little, had riding lessons on her and sometimes comes to the yard (she's great at poo picking
) but has a very busy life and doesn't often have time....
But now I know she's not ever likely to be "horsey".
I texted her, asking was she coming to help with Mollie.
The answer came back:
"In this weather?!
