Have just been reminded how utterly fab my horse can be this weekend, when for a slightly spooky horse who generally prefers his natural way of going to mimic a giraffe, he decided to walk over the M11 motorway flyover bridge (necessary for hacking at our new yard) for the first time, on his own, completely relaxed and in a PERFECT OUTLINE, even when some idiot truck driver decided to beep his horn.

I think he just thought I needed reminding what a good boy he is!

Anyone else got a fab one? x

The first time I took mine out alone, only the second time I took him out, I was on the way home after a nice but sedate hack and was faced with a convoy of a tractor with a mower, followed by another with a baler and then two lorries full of hay that took up most of the width of the road. Even though he'd been fine in traffic when I'd taken him out before and when i tried him, my heart was thumping and my palms were sweating! I asked them to stop and they did, but I needn't have bothered as he just kept plodding down the road as if they were a line of cars. I felt silly afterwards for being so worried! He has many faults but is an absolute superstar in traffic

Sounds like the hacking round me cambridge 1 side marshalls airport the other and the only way out is to cross the a14 flyover. Sounds like your horse is a lovely man mine prefer to dance across it :P
