Thought of all of you in AAD at the weekend.

Was walking the little Bichon on Saturday, and was introduced to the most smashin little dog.

It was a cross between a Pug and King Charles Cav. It looked like a pug, but bigger and not so 'squat' through the body. Fab size too.

I know generally there is a lot of anti feelings about crosses - but this one was smasin!!!!!

hehe. I've met some smashing 'designer' crosses too. It's not the actual dogs I'm against just the principle of breeding them! I'm sure there are hundreds of very lovely little cross breeds out there but the other issue I have is that you would be then forgiven for thinking thats a good cross and going out and finding one yourself, but you would most likely end up with something totally different with allsorts of horrendous health problems.

awwww, I don't have anything against cross breeds! I just hate it when unscrupulous folk mate anything and everyhting just so's they can give it a cutesy designer lable and then charge megabucks for it. But equally so, I'm against the same sort of willy-nilly breeding of purebreds. Just cos it's got papers doesn't mean it should be bred from!
