I was just wondering what everyone thought about the article by Danny Warrington in this week's magazine. I thought it made a lot of sense. Sometimes it important to listen to your resevations.
I will second that, it did. However I don't know about everyone else but I get so pumped up for xc that retiring just doesn't cross my mind, unless horse is tired. And I don't know what its like, thankfully, to be sitting on a very tired horse. I think far too many people push their horses too far too fast these days because of outside pressures - I get comments about how little im jumping with my youngster, and its hard to explain to people that though he could get round a novice tomorrow, there's no point scaring either him or me, it's better to take it slowly. A very sensible article well written!
