Today I took Ponyboy for a walk in-hand down the lane. Too icey to ride.

A driver slowed down, put his window down and yelled 'that thing shouldn't be on the road!!'
Me: 'tough mate! He's zero emissions and doesn't need road tax.'
Driver races off.
Me: giggles
Ponyboy: raises tail and farts
Okay perhaps not zero emissions

i tell people if it wasn't for the horse and then the cart there wouldn't be roads nor the car

Met a few like that, i tell them my horse is better mannered than they are, and roads were made for horses.

There's a woman on the estate where I live, who if we ride through the main rode down the middle of the estate (not the road where she lives) and she happens to see she will stop & shout at us saying people don't want us riding down here. I've told her I also live here & that noone else complains.
Last time she told me it was dangerous, I said I wasn't sure quite what she was getting at but that she was more likely to hit someone in her car than I was on my horse, she huffed, revved her car & drove off at speed.
Silly cow!
