In the Mole Valley News letter I saw a litter of St Weiler's for sale. The mum is a St Bernard and the dad a Rottweiler - they are being advertised as potentially excellent "Farm Guards" for a mere £500 each

Just a snip compared to the vet bills for the HD and ED they will probably eventually end up suffering from.
Pardon me for assuming the 'breeders' did not have the parents x-rayed/scored before they mated these two large, weight-bearing breeds and will no doubt omit to remind purchasers not to let their pups do any strenuous running or jumping before 12 months.
