Below is a list of events being organised by the Young Countryside Alliance this summer. If you have further events you would like to add, please email yca@countryside-alliance.org , and we will be happy to help you get others involved.
JUNE 18th 2009 Game to Eat presents Game Sailing Four hour luxury Thames cruise courtesy of Turks Launches, champagne reception by Pol Roger, fine dining by Game For Everything, live music Only 7 tables are still available for this exclusive evening. £90 per person, £800 for tables of ten.
JUNE/JULY: 'Sunday at Sea' Take a group of friends off Sea fishing. A boat (10 people) departs Ramsgate for a days sea fishing, targeting bass and skate. Rod, reel, boat, picnic, as well as many fish as you can catch, included. £50 per person. Available anytime throughout June/July
JULY: 'Take your shot' Clay shooting Taster course West London Shooting School. Come and try shooting at West London, followed by a late afternoon drinks and BBQ. No shooting experience necessary, and all welcome .Price tbc
JULY 24th-26th 2009 : 'YCA at the CLA GAME FAIR ' Come and join us at the Alliances official stand at the CLA game fair at Belvoir Castle.
AUGUST: 'Exclusive Fly Fishing' in aid of Casting for Recovery; spend an afternoon relaxing with a champagne picnic and friends at your own, privately hired lake at Peasmarsh in Kent for an afternoons fly fishing. Parties of ten, includes rod, reel, champagne picnic and up to two fish each. £30 - £5 of which goes to Casting For Recovery a charity which offers therapeutic fly fishing retreats for those with breast cancer. Available on Sundays throughout August.
YOUNG COUNTRYSIDE ALLIANCE LONDON HUNTING FOR REPEAL BALL SATURDAY 12th SEPTEMBER t.b.c - details to follow.
Other events, such as social BBQ's, drinks, and more, will be organised throughout the summer months, details to be advised. Please be aware that the YCA is run by a team of volunteers who all work full time - and at the moment, are mostly London based. If you are keen on organising an event in YOUR area, please get involved!
