my horse is rising 3 and he seems to not realise how wide he actually is, as he walks in and out of the field shelter/trailer etc, he scrapes himself on the sides of them both! hes like a cat or dog that's had its whiskers cut short!

is this something young horses do or just silly horses?

haha :D

I think it maybe a young horse thing - my youngster hasn't grasped gateways yet and the art of swinging his bum round to move out the way of the gate!! also he treads all over the bucket i use to stand on to brush him, he doesnt care! he also eats everything in site and empties things out, honestly i cant leave him alone for a minute! (hes rising 3) he is very awkward! my now 5 yr old used to do this alot too, although now shes great at manoeuvring around :)

oh good, was worried he was mentally challenged! hehe! but sounds like your boy is exactly the same as mine! he eats everything in sight too, loves trying to catch the bobbles that dangle from my hat! emptiest my box of brushes when I am brushing him! likes to stand in the water buckets etc! hes just started losing his teeth too, so he's even more into chewing things, bless them!!
