i have young pony he is very lively what can i feed him to calm him down <span style="colorurple"> </span>

what age is he? what height? what breed is he? whats he fed on now? is he a good or poor doer ?

he is 2 and 11 months . 13.2 and a bit .nf x .happy hoof cool mix but not doing any good hes a okay doer.

Nothing! Hay if grass runs out. He's a native!!!!

I certainly would cut out the cool mix he doesn't need it. If he has supplements you can add them to a handful of chaff.

At the moment I have an Arab x young pony only about 3 and she is just living off the grass, with a haynet a day, and a scoop of chaff with supplements and shes an Arab

young ponies are lively full stop!!! my welshie is a little shite, it's just a case of being strict and letting them know what is acceptable and what's not. also if he is a colt gelding helps!

He's still very young. This is when they need to be lively! Its their fun time before they have to start work in a few years!
