Here is Freddy the 3 yr old i purchased from another forum member :D I backed him in May and he is loving hacking out :) Yesterday we had a meet only 10 mins from our yard, its a very quiet meet that involves lots of standing around cover so i took him for an hour just to see the hounds- not too much work as we only trotted once :) He will now spend the winter eating and maturing ready for next year

Yep think sat would be quite a lot for a youngster to take in, prop be fairly busy! I'm taking Gracie, which means I actually should have brakes yayy!! Spots very over the top at the moment but has to wait till nest thurs to go out again, decided to show how annoyed she was at not going today that she cantered off along the road with me out hacking, cheeky little madam ;) couldn't help but laugh though.

at least yours has the enthusiasm and fitness to bog off!! I've been away for nearly two weeks, during which time Ron has turned into a woolly mammoth! This evening's hack consisted of him huffing and puffing his way up the road, being very unimpressed at the necessity of the "work" and then promptly putting his head down to eat when I turned him out after!

I'm sure he'll pick it back up soon enough Jenhunt. Was very pleased that she did have the enthisuiam, as she is 22 did her check ligament at start off last season and only came back into work at end of season, and then I was off for 6 weeks, she also is affected by pollen, she means alot to me and is retired to the hunting field, I thought before she went out 2 weeks she was feeling unlevel as soon as she went hunting, she was fine so for her to do this I was pleased, lol, hence couldn't stop laughing. And we happened to have the vet on our yard today and he said that her legs felt really good so very very pleased :D
