Today was inhand practice, since i will be taking her to a couple of small local shows next month i thought i ought to start.
Just to zing things up a tad i laid out a tarpaulin - small at first and weighted it down the two sides with poles, thinking she may have a flap, i first walked her up to it for a sniff, she really didnt bother and procedeed to follow me over it
ended up opening it right out she just followed me every time, never said no (even though it was very rustly) and stood on it for a little while and did some reining back inhand on the sheet
When we stepped of it the wind had got up and it blew up quite big, didnt bother
She is starting to get the hang of trotting inhand and also letting me stay by her shoulder and not falling behind, trotting was a bit stop and start but she got the hang of it, although a bit more practice is in order.
Next week i am planning to take her to the local menage up the road for some more ridden work, and the end of next week we will be hacking out with a foot person.

(ps i know her feet need a trim - there booked in next week)
Standing on the tarpaulin - clearly not bothered.
Long reining the other day
