Youngster won her in-hand class today. Is she good enough to CHAPS register?

I took my 3 year old to an in-hand coloured class today and she won! I was very surprised as I had only taken her to one in-hand class before where we were second to bottom, although I had only had her about two months at that time and she was very immature in her appearance.
The judge today said that she was a very smart pony and another person said that if she wasn't CHAPS registered I should consider doing so. Is she nice enough? Sorry if the photos aren't good, I've tried to take stills from the video that my OH did.
She was a terror to handle - really strong and feisty, but it was absolutely sheeting down with rain and there were a LOT of horses there. She's never been in an environment like that before, so all in all I was pretty pleased. Her legs were only filthy as the ground was just a mudbath in places!
Opinions please! Thank you

Firstly very well done and what a gorgeous horse. I cannot advise but have had some comments similar about my boy so would be interested in seeing your replies and also finding more out about registering with CHAPS as I looked into it ages ago and they wanted alot of info that I didnt have about my boy being ex-gypsy owned...

My boy was CHAPS registered at birth and I don't think it was a big deal. I asked his breeder to do it as she wasn't originally going to. They don't have any "entry requirements" as far as I know; I think they will register pretty much any coloured horse or pony. So I'm not sure it would necessarily confer any kind of "quality" as such. Not that I'm being derogatory about CHAPS!!!

cant really advise from the photos-need a good side shot with her standing up nicely

Hi Jules
I think this is the only one of her side on - couldn't get any today as OH was too far away with the vid camera .....this was taken around April time, I think just so I could see her progress on camera....

You can register any coloured horse with CHAPS (and BSPA) doesn't matter how good they are, as long as they are splodgey.
