youngsters teeth question

Hello, I noticed 2day that my 2.5 yr old youngster has top front teeth that looks like the tops of them are rotten, the rest of his teeth look fine and clean but the tops of the front ones looks like they are dirty, possibly chipping and like humans look when rotting. Is this normal, are the front teeth likely to fall out? I've not had one this young before so don't know a great deal about young teeth.

Sounds like he is getting his permanent front incisors. 2.5 years is usually when they get their first permanent teeth.
