Youngsters views on hunting

I was left to make my own mind up. My parents are roughly pro, but had never hunted and never wanted to. They believed it was important for me to make my own judgement on this and other issues. I took the time to learn about the arguments presented by both sides, then I went to a hunt to see for myself and it happens that I came down on the pro side of the fence. Whether a less convincing speaker than my hunt master would have led to a different result I couldn't say.

I hope that if I have children they will be encouraged to examine the facts for themselves, if they want to hunt then brilliant, if not I'm not going to disown them!
