your 4yo?

I have two 4 year olds that are both by the same sire. The gelding is nice and level at 16.2hh and the filly has recently gone really bum high, she is 15.2hh at the withers and 16hh behind!

I think mine has been level for about 5 mins once! At the moment he isn't too bad as has sot up at the front again, but is still currently about 1cm taller behind.

i've one whose arse just keeps growing! not hopeful that she will ever level out!

This thread gives me hope my 15.2 3yr old will grow, I know he will, it's more he isn't currently and it's driving me nuts. I measure him regularly (I'm starting to think a watched kettle and all) and he hasn't grown since I got him April, all his energy seems to be going into looking more mature, but not height (luckily he rides big). I've never had such a small horse and I'm struggling with the idea that I may be hunting a pony (in my eyes) for the first few seasons (that is, if he ever does eventually grow). :D

My filly will be 4 in May also and she is quite bum high at the moment. I havent been able to check her height properly as she has been turned away in a field for the last 2 months and nowhere flat to check but now she has been moved to a stable. She is an inch or so bum high.

seriously dont panic as a 3yo Goof was 15-15.1hh and is now a strapping 16/16.1hh as a 4yo :)
Thank you, my boy was a rather late foal, so I just keep telling myself that. I doubt any horse in the history of horses has finished growing at 3, but it would be just my luck if Po was the first! Lol.

Mines 4 in March . I reckon she's about 16hds at the wither and 16.2 bum. She's looking rather weird too, a bit like a banana, as she has a long neck set on quite high, low withers and bum high. I am praying the withers catch up with the rest of her☺️

Ahh thank God it's not just mine lol! Mine has a huge powerful backside and much less front looks almost like 2 different ponies that have been stuck together in the middle x thanks all x

my new forest 'pony' who was about 14'1 when I got her last April, then grew to about 14'3, now, over the winter has gone bum-high again. she is about 15- 15'1 in her rear end and still abut 14'3 in front. where as my other new forest, same age, grew a lot last year but is now a flat tank! she is a year ahead- 5 in April.
