I don't no most of the choices but I have the Jefferies Hawk event saddle. It is fab I love it, if I could afford it I would get all of my horses one. I've had mine 16yrs and its still going strong.
I have an Ideal Event saddle, got it for xmas and I love lovelove it- soooo comfy and secure.
The only bridle I have had from new in the past 3years is my Jeffries, and it has aged incredibly well.
Girths- Im a thorowgood gal.
Stable rugs- We have Mark Todds at Bekka's yard and I think they are very hard wearing, Daisy has had hers for 4years and its still in mint condition.
Out of those I have only used the ideal event, but really liked.
MT bridles are really nice - v.good quality!
Stubben girth (I have one that is 7yo and still in mint condition, and I never clean it!!!)
Rugs is a bit trickier. If your horse is quite chunky go Fal, if finer go Mark Todd!
GFS - love these saddles. I had a Falcon event; got rid as really wasn't good enough for eventing in my opinion. I replaced it with a Stubben MF - fantastic saddle.
Ideal saddle - haven't actually ridden in the event saddle but the working hunter saddle is lovely
Jefferies bridle - really nice bridles made with lovely leather, lasted 4 years and still cleans up good as new
Haven't used any of those girths but i have a jefferies atherstone girth which is fab
Both fal rugs - great rugs and fit nicely, fit chunkier horses well, rambo rugs are also good
Would say either the Ideal saddle, as I loved my Ideal saddle, or the GFS Pro Event - having ridden in it, it seemed like a wonderful saddle! Very comfy too. Have to say I dislike the Bates Caprilli GP with a passion. Albion bridles as they're very good quality (and smart!)
Said both fal rugs as I'm a big fal fan - last very well and have always found them to be a good fit.
