If you have a registered TB with the RoR (Retraining of Racehorses) then your County needs you if you are in the Eastern Region. Applications are invited to compete in any or all of the following: Prelim 12, Novice 24, SJ 2'6", SJ 3', In-Hand Showing, Ridden Showing for your county - Herts, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambs. Teams will be chosen on the 12th August and you will be notified as to whether you're in the team or not, and then you will compete for individual awards but more importantly, a win gives you 6 points for your county team down to 1/2 point for taking part in that class. Points are added up and the County with the most points during the day takes the County Champion Title. Full details on request, but at present we are just trying to get the word about to get your applications in immediately. Herts were last years Champions but so far, with only a few weeks to go before applications close, we have no entries whatsoever from that County and the other counties are also lacking. There is also an Outsiders team (made up of various riders from all over the country) who will be taking on the Eastern Region, so don't let the title go to Outsiders, support your county now. I am your regional representative for the Eastern Region. Competition will take place this year at WHW, Snetterton, Norfolk which is a nice easy drive for everyone around the region and will be on Sunday 28th September.
