2 days

used to be a day... then as long as he'd been in full work for over 2 weeks, it was 2 days... now he's far better as long as i don't properly school him :p

If he's turned out, he's fine to ride no matter how long you leave him.
If he's stabled for whatever reason, the longer you leave him, the more fizzy he is on that first ride  (although, he is controllable, luckily :p )

Mine is a v. whizzy boy, always has been.

I can ride him when I want in the fact he will listen and not buck me off or anything but is like a wound up spring after 2 days and is a rocket that HAS to gallop everywhere until he gets tired and calms down.

Much prefer to ride him or keep him ticking over then to leave him a few days as I know the next time I ride he will be a rocket, and I like to go fast when I want to go fast not when he wants to gallop everywhere out of control.
