Ok, im flying home to the UK early on Sunday morning to spend a week shopping with my mum.

Ive never been to Your Horse Live at all and its only about 30 minutes away from where i land (ish!)

Is it worth going? Id like opinions of those who've been either today or in past years. The thing that worries me is that i might end up spending far too much on my first day in the UK lol

Meh, maybe i should go. I was planning on looking for some stuff for Jack while there anyway.... seems an awful shame to miss out when its my first time home all year!

If you go you WILL end up spending money, it's not physically possible not to! I think though that it's just a fantastic event, I look forward to it all year. I've not yet been able to see any demos as I've been shopping all day for the last two years, but third year lucky and I might get to watch the Carl Hester demo or something. Well worth the £15 entry and well worth the £20-odd petrol for the 3 hour journey!

I went today - had a brilliant time. I always enjoy watching Richard Davison - I love the way he rides his horses and his demos are informative and fun. Steph Croxford was with him today also - another rider I enjoy watching.

Spent too much money as always but did get all I went for (plus a few extra bits!)

Great day out!!

I was there yesterday as well. It was fantastic. Great demos, especially Richard Davison and WFP. Spent far too much money - again - but hey ho was worth it.

I stopped going when it turned into just another show like the rest.
It was great when it started as you could see practically every breed in the country but now it only shows the usual rare breeds and I can see them at the Rare Breeds show or The Royal.
The rest of the stalls are all things I can pick up at the local tack shop and I don't have to spend a fortune getting in through the doors.
I'm not into eventing or dressage, showjumping etc so I can't see the point of going anymore.
