You'll love it!!!! Shopping heaven and the demos are really good. I don't have a horse to buy for now but going to get some charity Xmas cards and a calender and look at books and dvd's. Demo wise I want to see mounted police, retraining racehorses and poss Oliver townend. Luckily I'm going both days so plenty of time to see everything I want!!! Xxxx

Oy!!
Have a look at the website and see which demos are on and what times - it is easy to lose track of time when you are there and miss what you want to see.
Take some food - last time we went the food was more expensive than some of the horse bargins - i think we paid £5.50 for a hard jacket spud and £1.50 for a warm can of coke.
You will need good comfortable walking shoes, take a ruck sack if you can and seriously the food was mega expensive
Go to the main arena & see the demos from Tim Stockdale, Ollie Townend & Andrew Gould. It's an ideal opportunity to see & hear ideas & tips from riders who are at the top of their chosen discipline.
Regarding the shopping, there are a few stalls selling quality items but there are a lot selling some really nasty stuff. There are some bargains there though, normally rugs, & late on Sunday you can pick up them cheaply as they would rather sell them that reload them back on their lorries.
Enjoy yourself, but take food with you as food prices there are very expensive
Gulp, yes its next weekend and I'm revving up for a last minute panic re our trade stand... Have we got enough stock? (Almost certainly not), Did anyone order carrier bags? Where is the receipt book, mobile credit card machine, where did we put the tent?
You get the picture
A slick well oiled machine we are not ha ha Still I am sure it will all come together one the day.... Maybe
Great thread, my friend and I are coming over from France, there's going to be so little time, so much to see and buy on Saturday!Thank you for the tips.Watch out for 2 very excited redheads!

Oldmare, which stall are you on? I'll be on a trade stand too!
OP - I went a few years ago, and managed to see every demo, work out what you want to see and when it is on and fit your shopping around that. My biggest disappointment was that when the last demo finished on the sunday the tradestands were already packing up so we didn't get time to shop.
So bearing that in mind I will be refusing to pack up our stand until we're sure all the customers have gone home!
