Am wanting to build myself some jumps in the field from general "stuff" laying around in the yard, so it got me thinking...
What do you make use of for jumps when you have no proper wings/poles?? Either sensible or bizarre!

Post piccies if you've got them!

Please try and avoid drain pipes as they can shatter easily if trodden on or kicked hard enough!

Blue barrels are great and robinsons do a metal thing that you screw onto a barrel so you actually have jump cups like the poly jumps.

we utilise blue tarpauline for a water tray have made our own schooling wings out of left over 4 x 4 from the field shelter!

Good luck!

Not that I advocate theft! But at my last yard we had lots of plastic barriers from road works...they are very bright and really give them something to look at! Also one of the girls found a spongebob squarepants (full size) halloween costume which made a great filler!

*cough* plastic cones for bending poles, and if you cut a semi circle in the top act as jump wings *cough*

Do you live neart a forest or wood? Go scavaging for straight logs for poles, and twisty fallen branches - those can make wicked jump wings if imagination is used!

Tyres, some places will let you have bald tyres for freee!

logs (fat, short) also good jump wings

A tree as a jump wing - can you tell I have fun being creative in the forest!

Tarpaulin/coloured carrier bags, evergreen branches/tyres to make jumps scarier
