I was at a show the other day. And i met a groom from my old yard. Her and YO wrote my horse of as being good for nothing, they just didnt like him fair doos, own opinion.
I had recently just been eventing on him and i did really well for his first time out. It was unafiliated.
Anyway got talking to her. . .and the topic of my boy came up and then to eventing. She continued to tell me that it wasnt "eventing" untill i got to pre-novice!! at this point i was um well annoyed. I dont go around saying im an eventer and i own an eventer, i was just over the moon at how he went.
If i entered somthing called a ODE surely i am eventing. . ? even if it is unafiliated?
