Your Yard - Sorry if its been done before

Just wondering what facilities your yard has, what type of livery your horse is on and how much you pay a month??

Whiskey is going to be on full livery 5 days a week (we just muck out at weekends, the yard does everything else) at £65 per week. The yard has an outdoor school with an all weather surface and floolights (though the riding school gets priority), a field full of show jumps and really good hacking just 2 mins roadwork away.

Maiden has a grassy eight acre field with secure (but barbed wire) fencing, auto-filling water trough, and we have access to a barn with hard-standing if needed. Nothing more. £12/week. I don't need anything more though as she's off work.
Berlin has fields and a stable (no electric anywhere) and a small area of the field to school in when it's dry. Don't know what his owner pays for that though.
At the yard I am taking Maiden back to when she's in work again, we have a stable, well-kept fields, floodlit 25m x 60m rubber-surfaced school with jumps, access to a SJing field in summer, fab hacking (direct access to the woods in the summer), storage space for everything etc. etc. for £25/week (no feed or bedding included).

I keep Berry on DIY, I get individual turnout (which is a mixture of post and rail and electric fencing). Floodlite outdoor sand school, jumping paddock with a few x country fences, and fantastic hacking.

Next month this will include a good size stable yay

Assisted DIY. £25 a week for stable. £3.50 for a bale of hay, £2 for a bag of woodchip, £1 for the y/o to bring in or put out. If I can't get down, it's £5 to muck out, do hay, water, feed, t/o. £2 to hold for farrier/vet etc.

All weather floodlit school with full set of jumps. Good hacking. Daily turn out from March-December. Lorry/trailer parking £10 a month.

There's only 3 liveries including me, I love it! Full would be £80 a week.

DIY - £30 a week. 24 x 7 grazing from May to October, though I normally have to put out hay from August for my two and winter t/o four days a week on what ends up a mud pit by January. 20 x 40 indoor school, secure tack room and feed store and hay storeage area. We get our own feed and hay and the YO provides shaving at cost - now £6.50.

Can have livery which is reasonably priced - £2.50 for muck out, £1 to put horse out and bring in. Full livery - t/o, b/i, m/o and feed is £5 a day.

I park my trailer for £2.50 a week.

Part livery which includes everything but riding..ie brushed every day, mucked out, feed, turnout/bring in, haylage...
Turnout - 365 days a year in post & rail/electric fencing. Excellent ground conditions no matter what the weather it seems. There are fields for summer grazing and different fields for winter grazing. Horse can go out 24/7 if you want.
My horse is stabled in a big barn with individual stables - both ends are open in summer which is lovely...it is big, light and airy and yet cosy in winter.
Olympic size outdoor all-weather floodlit school, offroad hacking...instructors are welcome...can ride round the land if you dont have time or inclination to go out for a hack!
I pay aprox £600 a month which can include shoeing, worming, there are no charges for vet visits if I cant be there.
I love my yard and the way it is run and all the horses are relaxed and well-looked after...it is probably the best run yard I have been at in 25+ years!
There is never any shouting, dramas or incidents. There is a routine so the horses are relaxed. Also no kids are allowed!!! Horses seem to settle in a matter of minutes when they arrive. If you have a problem they are experienced and willing to help sort it out.
I dont worry about her for once in all the time I have owned her (she isnt the easiest horse to manage!). I see her 6 days a week and will always do stuff myself ie. groom, bring her in, feed her but also I know she is fine if I am not there.
It is my peaceful haven in this mad world!!!

) Post n rail. Sole use of dressage school. Floodlights (plug and go). 17 x 11 stable. My boy is fed each morning and night and haynet hung up at bedtime. Turned out and bought in daily if I choose but I like doing this myself (not always possible in winter). £20 a week. I love my yard owner, substitute mother. I try and make myself indispensible in return though as much as she will let me.

What most of you guys call Part Livery, but round here it's full....so horse turned out, rugs changed, fed, mucked out, watered. But not groomed or exercised. £70 per week. Including free unlimited use of floodlit outdoor school, a few jumps. Livery yard forms part of equine clinic so also access to horse walker, spa, shiatsu therapist, vets on site several days per week, and two very knowledgeable YO's who will happily give as much advice as you want (or not if you don't want it), no bitching policy on yard. Fab!

Alisha is on a DIY yard with an outdoor, floodlit menage, 24/7 turnout in the summer and all day turnout during the winter. I pay £100/month, then extra for hay/straw/feed etc.
Jigsaw is on working livery. The college has a 25x60m outdoor menage with jumps, 20x40m indoor school, horse walker, under cover tie up area, 24/7 turnout in the summer, restricted turnout in winter (suits jigsaw as he doesn't like going out in the winter!). Pay £287/month which includes everything (mucking out, grooming, exercising, feed, hay, bedding (i have shavings), shoeing etc).
Excellent hacking at both places. School is pretty much always free at my DIY yard and it's not too bad at the college either, all the lessons are written on the board so I know when the schools booked and I just work around it

my children are on DIY (it's not a livery yard, is private yard just round the corner). Have stable, hay, straw, individual turnout (in good weather) during the winter and turn out with company in the summer. Excellent hacking right on the doorstep.

From our 2 liveries perspective, they pay £250 a month for both their horses, on diy livery with 24/7 turnout with post and rail fencing. Stable if they need it, (as we're just finishing rebuilding them so will have 6 fancy stables soon) use of 45x25 outdoor rubber and sand arena with floodlights, parking for their lorry um think thats it?

I pay £150 per calender month, bedding and haylage is on top (can't remember how much) and i get a small discount for my 2nd horse.

Well mum and dad rent a samll yard to a friend of ours for £100 per week.
She currently has 3 broodmares, 1 foal, 1 youngster in for selling, her own youngster and the companion pony. She gets water delivered and muck removed whenever, but pays for the straw and haylage we provide.
The turnout isn't all year (as it gets to wet and muddy) but they are all out at the mo, in the two 20 acre fields! There is a 20 by 40 sand school with jumps, small xc course, great bridleways and on farm hacking!
So basically 7 at the mo, but did have 10 at one point in the summer!!!
When she has a horse in for schooloing/breaking they pay her between £50 and £70 per week, and if she gives lessons in our school we get £10 a go!!!

-Fantasitc hacking (but only when you get across fast main road)
-Plaiting for shows
-Quality trained staff that know what they are doing

The main thing is the owner is receptive to owner input and wants to provide a quality service. You get what you pay for and there is a good atmosphere on the yard.

Only things not included that could be -clipping, lessons are extra but liveries get a reduced rate. Also if you want your horse exercised that is an extra.
