It,s from the john whittaker range and costs a mere £164.99!!!!Sorry i don,t know how to upload pic of it on post, but go and take a look for yourselves. Is there no end to this grotesque new fad of sparkley bits on our tack and attire,HAS THE HORSE WORLD LOST ALL SENSE OF TASTEFULNESS!!

It actually looks like someone has taken one of those free bows from 'barbie' magazine and stuck it on a plastic hat.

I don't mind bling, but that looks CHEAP

Oops. That'll be me with 2 'stupid' barble doll equines then. Luckily I have bags of personality and don't really care what anyone else thinks

I'd rip that daft ribbon off that hat. That is beyond fun and heading for the realms of ridiculous.

Ah well. I guess the manufacturers reckon "If we can't beat 'em, may as well join 'em" As long as it doesn't make its' way onto the hunting field or the show ring, and it makes someone happy then that's fine, still not my cup of tea though.

It's only the profit that interests them anyway, so if someone will buy it, someone had may as well sell it. To be honest, if I was going to make cash I would jump on the bandwagon too. I sold dozens and dozens of faux fur saddlecloths when they were in vogue, I didn't care who bought them, or why. They weren't going to harm anyone, apart from aesthetically that is!

Ps. Have camouflage pattern turnout rugs reached the UK yet ?

As for that hat, i saw a mid twenties chav wearing one the other week at a local show. After watching her ride and blaming the horse for knocking down fences, i fear it's a terminal case of ,all the gear,no idea.
