Curious if anyone ever worked in racing with this horse and what he was like or whether you've got a horse with his bloodlines. He was the sire of one of mine, bred at juddmonte. Mine's extremely hot headed and when my chiropractor asked his breeding and I said zafonic, she laughed and said that's why then!

Just wondered, as trying to piece his history and background together!
 
Google "Zafonic stallion" - there are quite a few sites with info. I don't know anything about his temperament but he was an amazing racehorse. He died in an accident in September 2002 while being leased to a stud in Australia. Amongst other he sired the lovely Xaar.
 
A bit tricky sums my horse up to a tea! He is such a funny sod at times! He's got a heart of gold but does get stressed at such little things! Has huge issues with his legs too, got a bowed tendon so think he's possibly been blistered as gets worried when I attempt to put creams, hose pipe, take a bucket of water, hoof moisturiser, boots (unless already tacked up!) near his legs! Once he gets worked up, very difficult to persuade him they're not going to hurt! He's exactly the same with his mane! Can brush/comb it fine, spray it but as soon as u pull he just freaks! Won't let me use a solo comb or cut with scissors! He thinks way too much!!
