I thought this was a nice article, and might be of interest to any other competing mums out there (Hot2Trot?!) I did chuckle at the thought of a farrier steaming on a shoe, unless they have a new fangled technique in Germany?

Thing is, I imagine Zara gets a hell of a lot more childcare help than any us 'normal' mums! I can't imagine she ever has to think "damn, I can't go eventing this weekend as nobody can babysit"!

Definitely wrong she was competing at Barbury last summer with Mia in the buggy and a quick look at BE confirms she did a full season that year

Oops - I bet the journalist gets a wrist slap for that! It is a nice article, best of luck for Zara next season.

It is a refreshing read, although to be fair she doesn't have the child care issues, or the financial worries that many 'normal' every day working class parents have when trying to finance horses and children. Plus I can't imagine she has to worry about dragging her horses in by livery yard rule times when she has a screaming toddler in tow either lol....
