ZFDP Help please - need replacement passport

Hi all,

I have a 3 yo gelding registered with ZFDP and need to buy a replacement passport. I have emailed all over the place, spoken to BHS for tel numbers etc and cannot contact the ZFDP anywhere! I tried their grading web page and to email them or comment I had to become a member - my membership has been 'pending ' for ages! I am so frustrated as I do not have a passport for my horse, therefore in theory cannot travel him and the show season will soon be upon us.

Anyone any inside contacts/ similar problems? Ideas to resolve?

Have you phoned them? that can sometimes work better than emails. They should speak reasonable English. Irene or Cornelia are the best people to talk to.

Otherwise I would contact the person you got the horse from and find out where the original passport is and ask why you have not been given it and the certificate of ownership.

Don't know which organisation your passport is from ,but ring the Anglo European studbook they overstamped one of mine ( I think the horse was Czech ) and imformed the original passport issuer that they where assuming responibity for the passport ( I think that's how it worked) ring them they where very helpful and it's all 'legal'.
